METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING CLINICAL TRIAL RECRUITMENT AND FOR DISEASE MANAGEMENT AND SURVEILLANCE

A system and method of facilitating the determination of candidates eligib le for a clinical trial includes maintaining an electronic patient registry including patient information relating to a plurality of individuals. When individuals are needed for a clinical trial, the patient registry is searched based on criteria established for th e clinical trial thereby to determine potential candidates within the patient registry that are eligible for the clinical trial. Individuals can register with the electronic registry on-line. A syst em and method for disease management and surveillance is also provided.
