摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform power-saving control even for a graphics controller which does not support a power-saving function in hardware wise. SOLUTION: Software which receives a request to implement the power- saving function does not input its execution in hardwarewise, but emulates it in softwarewise to set specific values in an I/O register group 203 in the graphics controller 14, thereby performing the power-saving control.
