PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium battery which has excellent battery characteristics of electricity-charging/discharging efficiency, a low-temperature characteristic, a cycle characteristic, and the like, and generates extremely small amount of gas during high temperature storage. SOLUTION: The battery has a positive electrode, which has a lithium containing transition metal oxide expressed with LixMyOz (however, M expresses one or more sorts of transition metal elements, and x is 0.10<=1.10), a negative electrode which can storage/discharge lithium ions, and a lithium ions conductive material. In this lithium ion conductive material, a compound shown by a formula (1) is contained. In the formula (1), n is an integer of 0 or 1 and R1, R2, R3, and R4 express either hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon numbers, respectively. |
