PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, inexpensive, and highly accurate lens barrel. SOLUTION: The lens barrel is provided with a lens drive ring which can turn a first guide part which engages with a guide part at the side of a fixed ring, and moves the lens drive ring itself in an optical axis direction when a rotation is given to the lens drive ring, a rotation allowable connected portion which engages with a rotation allowable connected portion at the side of the first lens retaining ring, and connects the first lens retaining ring with the lens drive ring so as to be freely rotated and so as no to produce relative movement in the optical axis direction, and a second and a third guide parts which engages with a guide part at the side of a second and a third lens retaining rings, and relatively moves the second and the third lens retaining ring in the optical axis direction relative to the lens drive rings, respectively by the rotation of the lens drive ring. The first, the second, and the third lens retaining rings are moved in the optical axis direction, respectively, by giving a rotation to the lens drive ring. |
