PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding type battery easy to manufacture and wherein enhancement of output power efficiency can be carried out without inviting fluctuation increase of internal resistance. SOLUTION: Winding of the first electrode sheet 12 is started from the first active material non-carrying part 12b of the first electrode sheet 12 with a winding shaft core 10 as a shaft, and after it is wound for prescribed times, the second electrode sheet 16 pinched by the separator sheets 14a, 14b is lap- wound onto the first electrode sheet 12. Then, after the first electrode sheet 12 is finished with the winding, the winding of the second electrode sheet 16 is continued for prescribed times and the surface of a winding member 18 is covered by the second active material non-carrying part 16b protruding from the separator sheets 14a, 14b. Then, the winding member 18 is inserted into a container having at least an electroconductive part in an inner wall and the second active material non-carrying part 16 are made to be contacted with the electroconductive part. Finally the winding type battery is completed while the winding coaxial core 10 is taken as the first electrode terminal and the electroconductive part of the container as the second electrode terminal. |
