PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calling equipment which can identify a caller rapidly and accurately. SOLUTION: The calling equipment 1 wherein a master machine 4 emits a ringing sound in response to a calling from a slave machine 2 comprises a ringing sound storage section 26 which stores the finger print information of a person who is expected to visit and the ringing sound information corresponding to the finger print information, a finger print reading section 16 which starts its operation by the pressing of a ringing button provided in the slave machine 2 by the visitor and then transmits the finger print information which it has read, a ringing sound determining section 28 which extracts the ringing sound information corresponding to the finger print information which it has received, from the ringing sound storage section 26, and a ringing sound generating section 30 which makes a speaker installed on the master machine 4 emit sound based on the received ringing sound information.
