PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ceramic coating material suitable for a tile for pavement, a tile for building, a flooring material for an office, a flooring material for a machine factory, or the like. SOLUTION: The ceramic coating material comprises a carbonized powder obtained by mixing and kneading degreased rice bran obtained from rice bran, with a thermoset resin, subjecting the mixed and kneaded product to a primary firing at 700-1,000 deg.C in an inert gas and pulverizing the fired product, a ceramic powder and a solvent.
