PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To spectrally separate a light to be measured with high wavelength resolution, and to extract a light signal generated by spectrally separating the light to be measured, while maintaining high signal quality. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a difference variance type spectroscope 21, which spectrally separates the incident light to be measured from an input port 1, an addition variance type spectroscope 25 which spectrally separate the spectrally separated light from the difference variance type spectroscope 21, a photodetector 26 which receives the spectrally separated light from the addition variance spectroscope as light for wavelength analysis, a light extractor 26 which is interposed between those difference and addition variance type spectroscopes, and a light signal output port 28 which projects the light extracted by the light extractor as a spectrally separated light signal.
