<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential signal transmission circuit and a method for detecting the transmission error of the differential signal transmission circuit capable of easily performing a transmission test or transmission error detection. SOLUTION: This differential signal transmission circuit in an LVDS transmission system is provided with a differential driver, a differential receiver, and a transmission line for transmitting a differential signal. The differential driver is provided with a test signal generating means for generating a test signal with such patterns that H and L are alternately repeated in the order of the high order bit for the respective lines of the respective channels of parallel input signal lines, and that H and L are alternately repeated time-axially in the same way for the respective lines of the respective channels. The differential receiver is provided with a test signal detecting means connected to parallel output signal lines for detecting the test signal, and for acquiring the output of H when any transmission error is absent.</p> |
