<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fuel pump reducing the load of a battery of reducing the consumed current and eliminate the lowering of a discharge quantity by preventing vaporization of the fuel by Joule heat in a rotor winding in a system using the electric fuel pump. SOLUTION: A pressure regulator 30 regulating the pressure of fuel discharged from a fuel outlet 23 is disposed in a pump casing assembly body 1. When the fuel pressure discharged from the discharge port 9 reaches a prescribed pressure or more, the fuel is returned to the adjacency to an inlet 8 so as to reduce the load torque applied to the rotor 16 of a motor 15.</p> |
