IMAGE BORDERLINE EXTRACTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of extracting a borderline more clearly even from image information including noise information by adapting chaos phenomenon. SOLUTION: An image information processing result acquired by a receiving part S11 and a difference calculating part S12 is input in a synchronizing part S21. In the S21, elements generating chaotic motions are spatially arranged, and elements to noise will synchronously move with adjacent elements by using an output from the S12. A step S22 of arranging elements maintaining stable motions is carried out in regard to picture elements with noise. By integrating output signals from the S22, only picture elements with borderline information transit from the stable motions to the chaotic motions, and a step 23 of arranging elements maintaining the stable motions is carried out in regard to picture the elements with noise. Input signals to a detecting part S13 are controlled.
