PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support leg economically excellent, easily constructed and maintaining connection between a base support part 3 and a panel side support part 5 even under the action of strong impulsive force such as an earthquake. SOLUTION: This support leg is provided with a base support part 3, a panel side support part 5, a cylindrical body 7 and an engaging bolt 9. The base support part 3 is composed of a lower pedestal 11 and a lower post 13. An external thread is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the lower post 13. The panel side support part 5 is composed of an upper pedestal 17 and an upper post 19. An annular groove 23 is formed at the upper post 19. The cylindrical body 7 is provided with a large diameter part 27 and a small diameter part 25 formed with an internal thread. The small diameter part 25 is screwed into the lower post 13, and the upper post 19 is fitted into the large diameter part 27. The tip of the engaging bolt 9 passing through a through hole 33 is engaged with the annular groove 23.
