PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition having a high flame retardance and good mechanical characteristics as an insulated power-cable, improving the flexibility for bending and execution, and tear properties on execution, and facilitating the cabling operation to improve the efficiency of execution works. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition is constituted by compounding 0.5-10 pts.wt. silicone-containing polyolefin, 0.5-5 pts.wt. fluid paraffin, and 60-200 pts.wt. inorganic flame-retardant as major components based on 100 pts.wt. olefin resin, and as required, an antioxidant and a lubricant.
