A protective packaging with product preparation features. Many products are shipped surrounded by foam with cut-outs for the product geometry and with secure holding features that prevent relative movement during shipping and transportation. However, the packaging for these products is limited to providing a protective state. In an aspect, the invention relates to a protective packaging comprising a protective packaging and at least one product preparation feature. The following detailed description of the embodiments of the present invention will be better understood when read in conjunction with the appended drawings. For the purpose of illustrating the invention, there are shown in the drawings embodiments which are presently preferred.
