PURPOSE: An LCD and a device and a method for driving the LCD are provided to realize the precharging even in a random data enable mode for applying LCD control signals to precise positions, thereby displaying all data normally. CONSTITUTION: A device for driving an LCD includes a timing control part(100) for outputting a vertical synchronization initiating signal of which generation interval is in association with blank sections of a data enable signal as the data enable signal is applied, the data enable signal having an irregular output sections and controlling image data output, a gate driver part(300) for outputting a first gate-on voltage for driving a previous line in the most vicinity of a current line on the basis of the vertical synchronization initiating signal and a second gate-on voltage for driving the current line to a same gate line simultaneously, a scan driver part, and an LCD panel(400) to be charged primarily by the first gate-on voltage and secondarily by the second gate-on voltage and displaying analog-converted image data provided from a data driver part while the secondary charging.
