The optoelectronic component has a light transmitter and a light receiver, each having an organic material layer and/or a conductive polymer, a transparent conductive element acting as a carrier and an anode for the organic material layer and/or conductive polymer and a cathode. The light transmitter and receiver are coupled via a transmission path, so that the light provided by the transmitter is received by the receiver, for generation of a signal voltage.
