An interactive amusement system comprises a display means (16) for displaying computer generated image, an interaction means (12) such as a doll which, in use, enables a user to interact with the computer generated image, the doll including a plurality of sensors (20, 22, 24) for sensing external stimuli, and means for transmitting signals from the sensors to a receiver (14) and processing means (16) for processing the received signals and converting them to a form suitable for modifying the computer generated image. At least a portion of the interaction means is flexible and/or yields to pressure. The computer generated image is, for example, a character which can be downloaded from a data store or via the Internet. |
