PURPOSE: An announcement service system in a full electronic telephone exchange is provided to rewrite a new announcement output sequence and simply output a newly changed announcement message, regardless of a change in announcement messages, by replacing a memory(ROM), in which announcement output sequences are recorded, with a RAM capable of rewriting. CONSTITUTION: An announcement service system(100) in a full electronic telephone exchange consists of a local bus interface memory(110), a control part(120), an announcement sequence memory(130), an announcement sending part(140), and a message memory(150). The local bus interface memory(110) receives the channel information and message number of each call from an MP, and sends information to end an announcement output function if an end command is received from the MP. The control part(120) receives an announcement output command, containing the channel information and message number of each call provided from the MP, through the local bus interface memory(110), analyzes the received command, and reads an announcement output sequence from the announcement sequence memory(130). Then the control part(120) controls the announcement sending part(140) to select a fixed or mixed announcement message number corresponding to the read sequence and sends a relevant announcement message. The announcement sequence memory(130) stores a plurality of announcement output sequences to send announcement messages to channel-formed calls. The announcement sending part(140) obtains an announcement message number from the message memory(150) according to the control of the control part(120), accesses a relevant voice message, and sends PCM voice data, test pattern data, etc. The message memory(150) stores fixed voice messages, messages containing variable fields, and mixed voice messages.
