The running zone (3) of the sintered slide bearing (1) occupies at least one position dependent on the direction of loading, and has a running surface permeable to less lubricant by comparison with the other running surface. The running zone has sealed pores near the surface. The length of the running zone is adjustable in relation to the amount of loading exerted.
