PURPOSE: A bi-directional rotating motor using magnetic force is provided to minimize energy loss by constituting the rotating motor through the utilization of permanent magnet, such that the rotor operates at a small starting force and a large rotating force is generated by the magnetic force. CONSTITUTION: A bi-directional rotating motor comprises a rotating shaft(11); a casing(10) forming a predetermined space; a rotor(20) installed within the casing, such that magnets(21) are arranged at a predetermined spacing along the outer periphery of the rotor; a stator(34) arranged to correspond to the magnets of the rotor, and which rotates the rotor according to the rotation of a shaft(32); a large diameter gear(40) installed in the rear of the stator; and a bi-directional motor(41) and a gear(42) for starting the large diameter gear.
