PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a container for rearing plant formed by mixing a powder of woods or grasses to a biodegradable resin material and capable of being subjected to disposal treatment after use and improved in stiffness of the container by protrusively installing stepped parts and protruding ridges at the peripheral wall of the container. SOLUTION: This flowerpot 1 is formed by mixing the powder of woods, grasses, etc., to the biodegradable resin material obtained from condensation polymerization of an aliphatic acid and an aliphatic alcohol and has the structure of protrusively forming a plurality of the longitudinal protruding ridges 6a to 6p at the inner side part 2a of the flowerpot 1 and installing a plurality of the stepped parts 31 to 38 in the circumferential direction at the outer side part 2b of the flowerpot 1 to improve the stiffness of the flowerpot 1 and prevent harmful substances from generating after subjected to the disposal treatment in the hollow and approximately coniform flowerpot 1.
