<p>This invention relates to porous, rapidly decomposing, contain an active ingredient and pellets which are based on chitosan or an alkaline chitosan derivative manufactured by a dropping method in which an aqueous solution or dispersion of chitosan or an alkaline chitosan derivative, one or more active ingredients, optionally other additives and acid is added dropwise into a cooling liquid with a maximum temperature of 5 deg;C and allowed to congeal drop by drop. The congealed droplets or pellets are then isolated and dried. The invention also relates to the use of said pellets in the manufacture of a medicament or a diagnostic product.</p> |
