PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent intrusion of ink from the periphery of nozzle of an ink jet printer head. SOLUTION: A plurality of longitudinal reservoir grooves 60 are made along a nozzle array in the vicinity of the side edge of a cavity plate 10 corresponding to a part spaced apart, in the outer circumferential direction, from a window 57 in a protective cover plate 44 bonded to surround the outer circumference of a nozzle plate 43 on the front of a head unit 6. Second adhesive 56 is applied to the rear surface of the protective cover plate 44 to surround the outer circumference of the window 57 in order to bond the head unit 6 and the protective cover plate 44. On the other hand, first adhesive, i.e., UV adhesive 7, is dripped from first adhesive dripping holes 9a and 9b made through the bottom plate 5 of a body frame in order to bond the bottom plate 5, the head unit 6 and the protective cover plate 44. In this regard, the first adhesive 56 is stemmed by the reservoir grooves 60 and prevented from being mixed with the UV adhesive 7.
