PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce dangerousness that a receptacle opening is abrased and to guarantee transmission of high torque in work for a long period of time. SOLUTION: An electric power tool having a receptacle to fix a tool on a driveshaft 16 is disclosed. The receptacle favourably includes the receptacle opening provided on the tool. The receptacle opening is favourably engaged with a fixed part 24 provided in a risen state on the driveshaft of the electric power tool and accordingly, certain engagement is carried out between them. The receptacle opening has a cross-section including a plural number of bulged parts displaced outside from a central axis of the driveshaft.
