PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer comprising a print head which can eject ink drops of different size and can operate under a state where adverse effect due to individual difference of the print head is suppressed, and a printer driver for such an ink jet printer. SOLUTION: The ink jet printer is stored with correction index value information corresponding to the quantity of ink of each size of ink drop being ejected from the print head, and provided with a function for outputting the correction index value information upon request. The printer driver acquires correction index value information from the ink jet printer and, based on the acquired correction index value information, forms an ink quantity correction table 22 and a distribution information table 23 suitable for the ink jet printer. |
