PURPOSE: A data recording method of a recordable media is provided to reduce a period of time required for recording data by gradually increasing a producing speed of source data and a recording speed of recorded data within an allowable range. CONSTITUTION: A data recording method of a recordable media includes the steps of setting a reading and producing speed of source data and a recording speed of recorded data at different speeds set previously, comparing the set recording speed with the set producing speed while gradually increasing the set recording speed, and maintaining the increased recording speed based on the compared result. The reading and producing speed of the source data is set as the maximum producing speed, and the recording speed of the recorded data is set as a low recording speed set previously.
