PURPOSE: A fuel supply apparatus for a CNG engine is provided to achieve improved accelerating performance by permitting sufficient amount of high pressure fuel to flow into the combustion chamber through the second injector when a vehicle is rapidly accelerated by the accelerating pedal. CONSTITUTION: A supply pipe is branched off from a supply pipe(18) arranged between a CNG cylinder(10) and a regulator(14), and a secondary regulator(16) is mounted on the branch supply pipe. The supply pipe extended from the secondary regulator is divided into four sections, each of four sections is installed in each combustion chamber and equipped with a solenoid valve(20). The compressed fuel gas is discharged from the CNG cylinder, and the pressure of the compressed fuel gas is reduced through the regulator and the secondary regulator. Thus, the fuel gas with the reduced pressure flows into the combustion chamber.
