PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoding device and a decoding method for a stereophonic encoded signal, which improve deterioration of a stereophonic image. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with harmonic structure analysis parts 5 and 6 which analyze the harmonic structure of unintegrated frequencies and generate a weighting signal for correcting the harmonic structure of integrated frequencies and harmonic structure correction parts 7 and 8 which correct the harmonic structure of the integrated frequencies by using the weighting signal.
