PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image editing device providing an image where the subject of imaging is in focus. SOLUTION: The image editing device includes first and second cameras 6a and 6b arranged in parallel with the subject of imaging for taking images of the subject of imaging to create the electronic data of the images taken; a camera control part 35 for creating a first and second images while making the focal distances of the first and second cameras 6a and 6b substantially equal; and a subject extraction means 45 for creating an image of the subject from which the subject is extracted by image recognition which is carried out by comparing the first and second images to each other at synchronized timing. With this arrangement, the device can take images with the first and second cameras 6a and 6b working like human eyes. Thus, for example, image processing is carried out such as image recognition using the first and second images, whereby the subject is recognized in focus and images of the subject in focus can be obtained. |
