PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder that can suitably hold a folder-type mobile phone. SOLUTION: The holder for the mobile phone consists of a main body 1 shaped to be a thick plate or the like having a mount means to a mount object face, a holding section 2 that holds the mobile phone 3 with a front side of the main body 1, and a connection section 2a that connects the main body 1 to the holding section 2, the three components configure about a channel shape from a plane view and are structured such that the hinge 3a of the folder- type mobile phone 3 is inserted between upper and lower strokes of the channel character shape. The holding section 2 may be a frame shape as shown in Figure 1, or a plate or a rod. When the holding section 21 is formed to be a plate, the cross section of the plate is formed to be a circular arc and fitted to the circular-arc of the hinge 3a to ensure the holding furthermore.
