PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety switch that can realize small size of a switch body by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The safety switch is provided with a first driving cam 17 which is held in free rotation by a case member 13 and a second driving cam 21 which is contacted by the first driving cam 17 by the energized force of a torsion coil spring 25 at the initial state and of which rotation is locked engaged with a second step part 13b and which is held in free rotation by the case member 13. And when an actuator 3 enters between the both driving cam 17, 21 and the second driving cam 21 is separated from the first driving cam 17, the engagement state of the second cam 21 and the second step 13b is released, and the second driving cam 21 is brought to a state capable of rotation. Then, following that, the first driving cam 17 is rotated interlocked with the entry of the actuator 3, and following this the second driving cam 21 is rotated. By the concurrent rotation of the both driving cams 17, 21 an operating rod 23 moves to an operating part 5 side and contact points 39, 40, 41 of a switch part 7 are changed over.
