PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical radio communication system or the like capable of making a communication by using a mobile radio communication terminal device without adversely affecting a pacemaker in a specified area. SOLUTION: A cellular telephone 100 in the system is provided with a transmission/reception means for transmitting/receiving a communication radio wave, a light-transmission/reception means for transmitting/receiving a communication light, a communication type deciding means for deciding a communication type to be performed between radio communication and optical communication, and a communication control means for switching between the radio communication and the optical communication on the basis of the decision of the communication type deciding means. A repeater 300 is provided with a transmission/ reception means for communicating with an external station, a light-transmission/reception means for transmitting/receiving the communication light, and a communication conversion means for converting from the radio communication to the optical communication and vice versa. |
