PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of the communication method with road users. SOLUTION: This communication method for communicating with road users in order to acquire the information on the road users has a process for performing communications between an on-vehicle machine mounted on the road user's vehicle and at least two non-contact type ID tags provided on the vehicle and mutually connecting the information of the non-contact type ID tags within the on-vehicle machine to generate connected information, and a process for performing a communication with the on-vehicle machine mounted on the vehicle by use of a roadside machine provided on the roadside of the road to acquire the connected information from the vehicle.
