PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile radio terminal that can relieve the load on a user in the case of setting a ringer tone. SOLUTION: When a center informs the mobile radio terminal about the arrival of mail in a step a1, the processing progresses to a step a2 where the mobile radio terminal conducts mail reception processing. Then in a step a3, a discrimination character set to a plurality of kinds of ringer tones is compared with a title of mail with melody data attached thereto or character data included in the melody data are compared, when they are coincident, the melody data are copied to a storage area corresponding to the respective ringer tones to update the ringer tone. When the automatic storage setting processing is finished, the processing progresses to a step a4, where the interruption processing is conducted, the processing returns to the step a1 and the mail arrival notice is again discriminated.
