PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antioxidant material having excellent active oxygen- erasing activities, having high safety and derived from a natural product. SOLUTION: Citruline is revealed to have the active oxygen-erasing activities for the first time. The new active oxygen eraser containing the citrulline as an active ingredient has characteristics of having the excellent active oxygen- erasing activities and further having high safety.
