PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material excellent in photographic performance, image preservability and producibility, particularly having no coating streaks and free of unevenness in density. SOLUTION: In the heat developable photosensitive material containing at least one photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent for silver ions and at least one water-soluble polymer on one face of the base, the water-soluble polymer has an acid group. Preferably the acid group is at least one of carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid and phosphonic acid groups.
