PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel structure for a zoom lens device capable of surely coping with the high accuracy of optical performance. SOLUTION: The proper number of supporting projections 13 are protrusively provided at the front and back ends of a fixed barrel 1, and the inner surface of a cam barrel 2 is brought into contact with the projections. A slide surface part S is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cam barrel 2 so as to smooth the moving of a zoom operation ring 3, then an index 26 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cam barrel 2, so that the cam barrel 2 is attached to be aligned with the index formed on the fixed barrel 1.
