PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for a sliding door in which a plurality of the locking devices being installed to the sliding door and having latch functions are interlocked and locked in a series under a latched state and can be unlocked. SOLUTION: The locking device A latches an engaging receiver 51 by closing the sliding door 60, and the locking device B engages an engaging receiver 52 while the first and second connectors 53 and 63 are connected electrically. A motor-operated device 62 responding to a locking signal projects and moves a connecting rod 61 by outputting the locking signal from a controller 54 under the latched state, and the locking devices A and B interlocked with the connecting rod 61 conduct locking operation in series. When an unlocking signal is output from the controller 54 under a locked state, the locking device is constituted so that the motor-operated device 62 retracts and moves the connecting rod 61 and the locking devices A and B conduct unlocking operation.
