PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device that can suppress damage to an air bag and hold an internal pressure of the air bag in a deployed and inflated condition for a long time. SOLUTION: The air bag device comprises the air bag 10 housed in a vehicle in a deployable and inflatable folded condition, and an inflator 28 connected to the air bag 10 to supply gas to the air bag 10. The inflator 28 comprises an inflating gas supplying member 29 for supplying the air bag 10 with deploying and inflating gas G1 for deploying and inflating the folded air bag 10, and an internal pressure holding gas supplying member 41 for supplying the air bag 10 with internal pressure holding gas G2 for holding an internal pressure of the inflated air bag 10. |
