PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which the instable impartation of static electricity such as frictional electrification is prevented and an electrostatic latent image in accordance with write-in voltage is stably imparted to a latent image carrier and whose resolution is high in the image forming device of a system by which electrification is performed by bringing a write-in electrode into contact with the latent image carrier. SOLUTION: The image forming device 1 is provided with at least the latent image carrier 2 on which an electrostatic latent image is formed, a write-in device 3 having the write-in electrode 3b to write in the electrostatic latent image to the latent image carrier 2 and a developing device 4 to reversely develop the electrostatic latent image with toner electrified negative, and forms the electrostatic latent image by bringing the write-in electrode 3b into contact so as to be opposed in in the rotating direction of the latent image carrier, an electric charge injection layer is provided on the surface of the latent image carrier 2 and also the work function of an electric charge injection layer surface is made smaller than that of a write-in electrode surface. |
