PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate an impact of a collision of a multi-stage rocket motor to be launched to a ground surface when a front stage is disconnected and dropped on the way of flying at the motor. SOLUTION: A blasting unit 316 (or a burning unit) is mounted at the front stage 31 of the multi-stage rocket motor 3, the unit 316 (or the burning unit) is operated after the front stage 31 is disconnected from a rear stage 32 by a disconnecting unit 33, and a motor case 311 or the like of the front-stage 31 is finely comminuted (or burnt). Thus, since the front stage 31 is dispersed into fine broken pieces after the front stage 31 is disconnected from the rear stage 32 or dropped on the ground in a state in which the front stage is burnt out by burning, even if its dropping ground point is near the launching ground point, a state to give a damage to near people or building can be avoided.
