PURPOSE: To provide a camera that transits to a print mode at the connection of a printer, and can readily obtain a printed matter in that mode. CONSTITUTION: When the printer is connected to the digital camera, the digital camera transits to the print mode. A function of One of the button switches provided on the camera transits in function to a print mode setting button switch, accompanying this mode transition.
