PURPOSE: A method for judging deterioration of package foods using microorganisms and a deterioration indicating machine are provided, therefore the deterioration of package foods can be easily judged on the basis of the color change in the indicating machine. CONSTITUTION: The method for judging deterioration of package foods using microorganisms comprises the steps of: inoculating aerobic microorganism into a medium containing nutrients, water, salt, oxygen and pH indicating reagents; culturing the microorganism; and judging the color change of the cultured medium by the pH indicating reagents wherein the color of the cultured medium is changed according to the change of the hydrogen concentration by the production of organic acid or carbon dioxide during the growth of microorganism.
