<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mass productivity of a thin film solar battery by facilitating the work for installing a film substrate in a core roll and the work for removing the film substrate from the core roll. SOLUTION: The cylindrical core roll 12 is provided with a cylindrical core barrel 20 and a core shell member 24 arranged ousted of the core barrel concentrically with the axis of the core barrel. The core shell member is divided into several segments 24a-24d, and each segment is provided with a means to be extended and shrunk in the radial direction from the axis of the core barrel. With this structure, the divided cylindrical peripheral surfaces of the segment can be fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the film substrate when forming the film substrate 11 into a cylindrical roll. When installing the film substrate, each segment is expanded in the radial direction to be brought in contact or push the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical film substrate, and when removing the film substrate, each segment is shrunk.</p> |
