PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator operating panel capable of mitigating any uneasiness of passengers by improving communication with the outside when an emergency occurs, and providing more value-added services by making use of an information infrastructure such as Internet. SOLUTION: This elevator operating panel 10 has a small telephone 14 having a liquid crystal screen built therein, and can provide various kinds of information by using both the sound and the image via the small telephone 14. Not only uneasiness of passengers can be mitigated by improving communication with the outside when any emergency occurs, but also more value-added services can be provided by making use of the information infrastructure such as Internet using the small telephone 14.
