INK JET RECORDER, ELASTIC MEMBER THEREFOR, AND INK TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for an ink jet recorder which can stand being used in an ink tank. SOLUTION: There is provided an elastic member for an ink jet recorder, which comprises (a) 100 weight parts of a triblock copolymer (SEPS) of, e.g. styrene-ethylene/propylene-styrene, (b) 60-170 weight parts of a softener for non aromatic rubber which has a kinetic viscosity at 40 deg.C of 300-500 mm2/sec, and (c) a thermoplastic elastomer composition which is composed of 5-30 weight parts of crystalline polyolefin and forms a net-shaped organization having a pore size of 50μm or smaller. The ink tank and the ink jet recorder use the elastic member.
