Concrete cladding protective plating - has ducts for services or heating fluid along embedded anchor ribs line

Provision is made for laying service ducts or installing leads, in plating providing cladding or protection for concrete, which has an outside face away (2) from the concrete, and anchoring ribs (4,6,8,10,12,14) bedded into the concrete. Ducts (16,18) are incorporated, extending in the lengthways direction of the ribs. These are pref. open only at the two ends. Ribs may be interconnected in pairs by stem surfaces extending parallel to their outside face, while one or more unattached ribs are left between each pair. One or more ducts may have a connection for introduction of fluid, all ducts being interconnected.
