PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flattening seat structure for a vehicle in which a head rest need not be preliminarily removed. SOLUTION: On the back surface side of a front end part of a seat cushion 2, a recessed part 6 for containing the head rest 5 of a backrest 3 is formed. The head rest 5 need not be preliminarily removed, therefore, in setting a seat in an inverted state.
