PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffusion plate having superior light diffusing performance and weather resistance and a method for producing the light diffusion plate. SOLUTION: The light diffusion plate contains melamine resin beads. In the method for producing the light diffusion plate, mixture of melamine resin beads and a polymerizable material is injected into a casting mold, polymerized and cured and the resulting polymer is released and drawn from the casting mold.
