PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method, by which a highly reliable printed matter having high water resistance and high light resistance substantially can be formed even on a medium to be printed having an inferior absorbency and, in addition, by which the trouble that printed information cannot be viewed clearly is solved, and a printing equipment employing the printing method and a printed matter made by means of the printing method. SOLUTION: This printing method has a process (1) for coating a coating liquid having a photopolymerization initiator and an ultraviolet curing type resin composition on a medium to be printed, a process (2) for forming a coating film through the curing of the coating liquid caused by the shining of ultraviolet light on the coating liquid coated on the medium to be printed in the process (1), a process (3) for printing information by an ink jet recording system on the coating film of the medium to be printed obtained in the process (2) with a recording liquid having the photopolymerization initiator, the ultraviolet curing type resin composition, water and a coloring material therein and at least a process (4) for curing the recording liquid given in the process (3) by shining ultraviolet light over the medium to be printed. Further, the printing equipment employing the printing method and the printed matter made by means of the printing method are provided. |
